How did I get here and who helped along the way?

My Family

My family has always been a huge part of my life. Whether my brothers were pestering me or my sister and I making music, growing up was never boring with this bunch.

Life in Colorado
Since 2010
I've grown up in the small Northern Colorado town of Johnstown. But after elementary and middle school I decided to move my educational journey to the nearby city of Loveland.

Deciding to exchange
August, 2019
The summer before my junior year of high school I went to a week-long summer camp through Rotary. There I met many lifelong friends and I was inspired to exchange after a keynote speaker who talked about her time in Peru.

Applying to Rotary
September, 2019
The application process was rigorous: I did two extensive applications and two interviews. After the first interview, I was told that I was on a sort of waiting list; our local Rotary could only sponsor one person and Autumn was chosen over me. But luckily I was adopted by another club to exchange.
